Je Suis Charlie

Dear Mom and Dad, 

 You probably will already be informed about this but on Wednesday January 7, 12 people were murdered in Paris because Charlie Hebdo, a Popular french satire newspaper, published an article with a drawing of Muhammad face on it. In Islam, it is illegal to show his face in any way, even if it's just a comic. But in France, they have a policy of free religion and speech, so this was not illegal in France. The newspaper has been threatened before for doing this to the Muslim religion, but the paper did not think they would take it this far in killing them. There were 2 extremist that did the killing, and one driver. So all together 3 people. One of the people turned himself in, but the others were still on the loose. Luckily they know who these 2 brothers are and are on the look out. It was in the 11th arrondissement and I live in the 7th arrondissement, with Connor and Ben. We are all safe and are scared, but we are going to march in the Je Suis Charlie in support of the victims. I belive that it was wrong of the paper to disrespect the Muslims religion, but they should of never gone this far in killing 12 innocent people. In a couple days they are going to release another paper, again with Muhammad's face on it, but this time he will be holding a paper saying he Susie's charlie. This kind of symbolizes that they are not afraid, and this did not Tare them apart. It United them as a whole, and all the other countries have sent them third support. Miss you lots, and I will talk to you as soon as possible.
